Mod Overview
This project is a fork and ported version of DeathButThree, adapted from the earlier version 1.20.x to work with NeoForge 1.21.
Game Mechanics
The mod addresses unfair gameplay tactics where players continuously respawn and attack bosses without any consequences. The system introduces a death limit: after a player dies three times to a specific enemy, that enemy fully restores their health.
This mechanic makes gameplay more strategic and requires players to be more careful and thoughtful when fighting powerful enemies.
Customization
The mod provides flexible configuration options through a config file where specific entity types and maximum death counts before health restoration can be specified. The health restoration feature will only work for enemies listed in the configuration.
This system gives server administrators and players full control over the mod's settings, allowing them to adapt it to their own preferences.
