Debark - Decorative Debarked Logs for Minecraft
The Debark modification offers decorative logs without bark that perfectly complement the visual style of your world. Unlike standard stripped logs introduced in version 1.13+, this modification provides its own unique approach to wood decoration.
Creation and Usage
Debarked logs can be obtained in two configurable ways. The first method is to right-click on a log in the world while holding an axe. The second option is to combine a log and an axe in the crafting grid. Both approaches are intuitive and convenient to use.
Extensive Compatibility
Thanks to procedural texture generation technology, the modification easily supports numerous popular mods. Full compatibility is currently ensured with:
Aether Legacy
Atum
Bewitchment
Binnie's Mods (Extra Trees)
Biomes o' Plenty
Climatic Biomes
Forestry
Natura
Project: Vibrant Journeys
Rockhounding: Surface
Rustic
TerraFirmaCraft
Traverse
Twilight Forest
And this list continues to expand with new mods!
Extending Support
Adding support for additional log types is very simple. Mod developers can send an IMC message with the key "register_log" to the mod "debark". For modpack creators, it's sufficient to add entries to the debark.cfg configuration file. The entry format: "block ID[,state to permute by,another state...]", for example "minecraft:log, variant" or "natura:overworld_logs,type".
Appearance Customization
If you want to modify the appearance of the modification through a resource pack, this is also straightforward. For each log type, the following textures are used:
- debark:blocks/debark_top_minecraft_log_0.png - for the top of the first variant of minecraft:log
- debark:blocks/debark_side_minecraft_log_0.png - for the side of the first variant of minecraft:log
- debark:blocks/debark_top.png - universal top texture in grayscale
- debark:blocks/debark_side.png - universal side texture in grayscale
The project icon is created based on the Unity resource pack by CyanideX.
