Decade of Digging
This modification restores unused content, introduces elements from various Minecraft versions, and pays tribute to the game's rich history. While still in its early stages, it offers numerous interesting additions for true Minecraft enthusiasts.
Restored Content from Java Edition
- Enchanted Obsidian (formerly Crying Obsidian) - functions like a regular bookshelf but with double effectiveness when placed near an enchanting table.
- Gear - can change rotation direction when interacted with, but doesn't connect to redstone.
- Rose - has exactly the same properties as a Poppy.
- Tuna (formerly pre-1.13 regular fish) - new edible fish that can be cooked and placed in a bucket (bucket functionality is under development).
Elements from Other Game Editions
Bedrock and Education Edition
- Nether Reactor Core - works the same as in the original PE alpha 0.12.0 version
- PE Stonecutter - currently non-functional
- Glowing Obsidian - regular obsidian with lighting function
- Camera - can be used handheld or mounted on a tripod
- Cyan Rose - similar to regular rose but used for creating cyan dye
- Underwater Torch - requires glow ink sacs instead of magnesium for crafting
Minecraft Story Mode
- Redstone Heart - redstone block that also serves as a light source
- Formidi-Bomb - highly explosive item, activate with extreme caution
Minecraft Dungeons
- Redstone Monstrosity - challenging boss requiring excellent equipment
- Redstone Monstrosity Head - ultimate trophy for successful hunters
- Key Golem - works with the new redstone input "Redstone Keyhole"
Tribute to Community and Other Elements
The mod also includes original entertainment elements like fluffy Mooblooms and Moolips from Minecraft Earth, as well as funny additions paying tribute to community classics.
Game Tools
- Iron Hammer - slower but more powerful alternative to iron sword that also works as a pickaxe. Can fully repair cracked anvils and partially repair damaged ones.
- Netherite Hammer - enhanced version made from netherite that can fully repair any anvil
- Steve and Alex Clothes - allows you to dress as default Minecraft characters
- Tripod - primarily for camera use but can also serve as spyglass mount
And many other interesting elements! Most items currently cannot be crafted in Survival mode, but the modification is actively developing.
