Deep Aether: Exploring Celestial Depths

About the Modification

The Deep Aether mod is a massive expansion for the original Aether mod, designed to significantly enhance gameplay in Minecraft versions 1.19.2 and above.

This project implements the concept of an "updated Aether," similar to how the Nether was updated in version 1.16—developers introduce numerous new elements while maintaining the recognizable style and atmosphere of the original Aether dimension.

New Content

Biomes

Embark on a journey through unique locations, each with its own characteristics:

• Aerglow Forest and its blue variant
• Aerlavender Fields
• Yagroot Swamp
• Golden Heights

Mining and Equipment

Players gain access to various materials with unique properties:

• Skyjade - mined from holystone. This resource allows players to craft a full arsenal of weapons, tools, and durable armor with the unique property of maximum effectiveness at full durability that decreases as it wears down.
• Stratus - a mineral found in Sterling Aerclouds. Crafting a complete equipment set from it grants players a range of abilities including slow falling, enhanced jumping (similar to gravitite), and a forward dash activated with the R key.

Flora and Resources

All biomes are filled with plant life featuring unique properties:

• Diverse tree species: Roseroot, Blue Roseroot, Yagroot, Cruderoot, Conberry, and Sunroot
• Special grass for Golden Heights biome and aerated moss blocks for Yagroot Swamp
• Aerglow element crafted from flower petals
• New stone types: Clorite and Aseterite
• Toxic "Aersmog" clouds that inflict poisoning effects on contact
• Dangerous quicksand and numerous useful construction blocks

Wildlife and Dungeons

• Multicolored Aether Quail available in numerous color variants
• Unique Aerglow Fish
• Music discs "Nabooru" and "A Morning Wish" by Emile van Krieken
• Mystical equipment: spooky ring that increases damage during nighttime

This expansion is compatible with well-crafted Aether-related modifications:
