What is DAB 2?

Default Amplified Biomes 2 is a modification that enhances world generation by adding 13 amplified versions of standard biomes. These biomes can appear in various world types including default, large biomes, buffet, and many others. Some players note that the result surpasses even the built-in amplified world generator.

Key features:

• The mod doesn't add new blocks, entities, or dimensions - only modifies the landscape of existing biomes
• Flexible configuration system for modpack creators with ability to adjust spawn weight, scale, and depth of biomes
• Amplified biomes generate 4 times more emeralds
• Villages in amplified biomes become 5 times larger (where applicable)

Usage recommendations:

For the best experience, it's recommended to create Buffet type worlds with surface generation. The mod may have limited compatibility with world types that modify Minecraft's standard noise generator.
