Delete Item

If you've landed on this page, it means you've exhausted all methods of controlling items that your players shouldn't have for whatever reason. This simple mod solves this problem by giving you absolute power — the ability to delete.

How the mod works

The modification automatically removes dropped items in the world and deletes specific items from containers when they are opened or closed. All of this happens based on configuration settings. That's it!

IMPORTANT: This mod does NOT DELETE the items themselves from the game, recipes, placed blocks, or any other objects. It ONLY REMOVES DROPPED ITEMS and ITEMS IN CONTAINERS!

Configuration setup

The configuration is extremely simple — add item IDs (which can be viewed using F3+H) to the deletion list. You can also enable and disable the function through settings if you want to use it periodically.

Example setup for one item:

"Items To Delete" = ["minecraft:dirt"]

Or for multiple items:

"Items To Delete" = ["minecraft:dirt", "minecraft:stone"]

You can add any number of items, simply separating their names with commas.

Server features

The mod doesn't need to be installed on the client, so server owners can simply add it to the server and get immediate results.

Logging

Starting from version V1.2.0, all deleted items are recorded in the log file. The records indicate the source of the items, the player they belonged to, and the location.
