DemonsHeart Raid Drop Balance

This datapack radically changes loot from raid mobs, making the system more balanced and realistic. Instead of previous abundance, some items have become significantly rarer and more valuable.

Illagers and Emeralds

Raiders (vindicators, evokers, and pillagers) now yield far fewer emeralds. The drop chance of these precious gems is significantly reduced, and importantly - the Looting enchantment no longer affects the quantity of emeralds obtained. The maximum you can get from one mob is just a single emerald.

Totems of Undying

One of the most significant changes concerns Totems of Undying. Their drop rate is now only 0.1% (1 in 1000 killed evokers). Even with maximum Looting III enchantment, the probability increases only to 0.4% (1 in 250). This makes totems truly rare and valuable relics.

Witches and Their Treasures

Witches have undergone substantial changes in their loot. They no longer drop sticks or gunpowder. Instead, they are more likely to drop glowstone and redstone dust.

Additionally, witches have gained new loot types - they now have a chance to throw potions with the following probabilities:

  • Potions of Harming, Slowness, Speed, and Poison: 1% to 4% each
  • Potions of Healing: 3% to 6% The number of dropped potions ranges from 0 to 1.
