Return of the Lost Night Magic

Among the many promised but never implemented Minecraft features, fireflies hold a special place. The irony is that in a game where players can create powerful explosives, developers decided to remove these harmless creatures due to potential danger to real-life frogs.

This modification corrects this injustice and brings fireflies back to the Minecraft world. They now spawn naturally during nighttime, creating a magical atmosphere with their flickering lights. You can also force their appearance using special spawn eggs.

Interaction with Frogs

The mod fully implements the originally intended gameplay - frogs can now hunt fireflies, as developers initially planned. This adds new dynamics to these amphibians' behavior and makes the game's ecosystem more lively and realistic.
