Desert Mining
The Desert Mining modification introduces completely new types of ore to the game, which can only be found in desert biomes. All these ore deposits consist of sand and require a shovel for extraction.
New Ores in the Desert
New ore deposits generate in sandy deserts and are characterized by easy accessibility. When breaking these ores, you obtain sandy ore chunks, which then need to be processed using special tools - hand sieves.
Sieve System
Hand sieves are a new type of tool designed for processing sandy ore chunks in the crafting grid. They come in several quality tiers:
- Sandy Sieve - the simplest version, crafted from sticks and sandstone, has only 4 uses
- Netherite Sieve - the top-tier version, requires prior creation of a diamond sieve and possesses 2048 uses
Unique Shovels
The mod adds three specialized shovels:
- Fortunate Shovel - increases the chance of obtaining additional resources through the fortune effect
- Speedy Shovel - surpasses even the netherite shovel in speed
- Master Shovel - combines the advantages of both previous models, features enhanced fortune and speed, capable of instantly breaking sand blocks
All new ores are affected by the Fortune enchantment, making mining even more efficient.
