Diamethyst Medieval Weapons

This is an official add-on for the Diamethysts modification, which is a mandatory requirement for this add-on to function. Without the main Diamethysts mod, Diamethyst Medieval Weapons will not work.

The mod expands the existing collection of diamethyst weapons by adding a selection of medieval armaments. Each weapon has unique abilities detailed below. All weapon types are fully compatible with the Better Combat mod.

Diamethyst Glaive

The glaive is a type of polearm historically common in Europe, known for its distinctive design and combat versatility. It typically consists of a single-edged blade approximately 45 centimeters long mounted on a shaft about 2 meters in length.

Diamethyst Glaive has a built-in Sweeping Edge I effect. It is most effective for long-range attacks where it deals maximum damage. Close combat is less effective.

Diamethyst Halberd

The halberd is a two-handed pole weapon that gained widespread use from the 13th to 16th centuries. The halberd's construction includes an axe blade topped with a spike mounted on a long shaft.

Diamethyst Halberd has a built-in Sharpness I effect. Like the glaive, it is most effective for long-range attacks.

Diamethyst Lochaber Axe

The Lochaber axe is a type of poleaxe used almost exclusively in Scotland. It was typically mounted on a shaft about five feet long.

Diamethyst Lochaber Axe has the ability to disable shields. Like other pole weapons, it is most effective for long-range attacks.

Diamethyst Ranseur

The ranseur is a polearm similar to the partisan used in Europe until the 15th century. The ranseur's head consists of a spear tip with a cross hilt at its base. Often this hilt is crescent-shaped, giving the weapon an appearance similar to a trident.

Diamethyst Ranseur has a 50% chance (configurable) to dismount a mounted attacker. Like other weapons in this mod, it is most effective for long-range attacks.
