Difficulty Increase - Dynamic Gameplay Enhancement
This modification fundamentally changes the survival balance in Minecraft by gradually increasing the difficulty level as the game progresses. The system includes 10 difficulty levels, each significantly increasing the number of hostile mobs that spawn.
The difficulty escalation mechanic activates every game night - there's a specific probability that the threat level will rise with the onset of darkness. An important feature: if the hero chooses to sleep through the night in a bed, the system resets the night count. After 10 game nights without difficulty increase, the game forces the danger level to rise.
How does increased difficulty manifest? Instead of single enemies, you'll encounter full-fledged hordes. For example, multiple creatures will spawn simultaneously where there used to be one zombie, requiring players to adopt completely new survival tactics and defensive construction approaches.
