DirtbagUtil

The DirtbagUtil modification was specifically developed for the Dirtbag City Life server pack to provide players with additional server utilities and expand role-playing opportunities.

Regions and Plots

The system allows creating organized territories with rental capabilities. Regions represent large land areas where plots can be placed - individual territories available for rent by other players. The system is managed using commands /dirtbag region (abbreviated /dbr) and /dirtbag plot (abbreviated /dbp).

Police System

A comprehensive police functionality is implemented with a set of special items and effects. Players can use handcuffs and taser to detain offenders. Two main status effects are applied: Handcuffed (blocks movement, item usage, and inventory access) and Stunned (additionally includes HUD effects and particles). The command interface includes /police, /onduty, /offduty, /jail, and /prison.

Professions

The profession system adds an economic component to gameplay. Special items are available: wallet and casino chips. The main command /dirtbag shop (abbreviated /dbs) allows interaction with the trading system. Professions are loaded from JSON files located in the data/[namespace]/dbprofessions folder.

NPC (Non-Player Characters)

The modification includes an NPC system with various blocks and items. Cash register and creative cash register are available, as well as NPC spawn egg. Management is done through commands /dirtbag npc edit (abbreviated /dbn edit) and /dirtbag renewable fill. NPCs are loaded from JSON files in the data/[namespace]/dbnpc folder, and their textures are randomly selected from directories assets/dirtbagutil/textures/entity/npc/default or assets/dirtbagutil/textures/entity/npc/slim.

Currency System

A full-fledged economy with banking operations is introduced. Players can use ATM for financial transactions, credit cards for cashless payments, and dollar bills of various denominations ($1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, $1000). Balance can be checked with the command /dirtbag balance (abbreviated /dbb).

Police System Expansion

An additional module expands law enforcement capabilities. Zones are named territories that can be declared as roads. Special items are available: radio for communication and ATM for financial operations. The command interface includes /dirtbag zone (abbreviated /dbz), /911 for emergency calls, and /warrant for obtaining warrants.
