About the Modification
Discount Stacking Fix is a server-side mod that completely removes the system of discounts for curing zombie villagers from the game.
Essentially, it fixes bug MC-181190, which was mistakenly perceived as a game feature.
While the idea of rewarding players for saving villagers seems logical (of course, if you didn't intentionally infect them — you're not that cruel), in practice it breaks the game balance.
This mechanic is not just extremely unstable, but also completely inconsistent with the concept of "survival", turning it into torture of farmers and imprisoning them in cramped cages measuring 1x2x1.
But don't worry — if you like it when villagers disrupt the balance, you can always not install this mod. That's the beauty of modifications.
Usage
The mod is compatible with all versions of Minecraft starting from 1.14.
To connect to a server with the mod installed, it is not required to have it on the client.
You can freely include this mod in your modpacks.
Future Plans
- Limit the number of discounts to one per villager. Unfortunately, due to insufficient knowledge of Java or possibly due to poor implementation of the villager interaction code, this feature is not yet available.
