DnT Ocean Monument Replacement
This modification is part of the Dungeons and Taverns series but does not require the main mod to function. The core Dungeons and Taverns mod already includes this replacement's features. If you enjoy similar structures, check out my other projects!

Core Changes
- Completely removes standard Ocean Monuments from the world
- When used with Dungeons and Taverns, simply removes vanilla monuments since the replacement structure is already present in the main mod
- Generates "Trident Trial Monuments" instead of regular ocean monuments
- The structure can be found using ocean explorer maps sold by villagers

Architecture and Features
The monument is a massive structure towering above the ocean, surrounded by eight smaller buildings connected by glass tube bridges.

Key features:
- Guardians do not spawn naturally in the structure
- Two elder guardians are pre-spawned and do not respawn
- Guardians, drowned, and additional elder guardians spawn from trial spawners
- Trial spawners can drop trident trial keys
- Defeating trial spawners provides loot and sometimes water breathing splash potions
Internal Layout
Eight Small Monuments
Each of the eight surrounding structures contains one chamber with a trial spawner generating guardians.

Main Structure
Lobby: The first accessible room via glass bridges contains a drowned swarm event trial spawner.

Lower area: Classic monument vault chamber surrounded by a vanilla-style labyrinth with trial spawners generating guardians and drowned. Also contains sponges and vaults that only open with trident trial keys.

Central cube: Dark prismarine cube contains not only gold blocks but also an ominous vault with guaranteed drop of 1 heart of the sea per player. Opens only with trident trial boss key.

Upper zone: Above the lobby lies a dark prismarine maze with corals in displays, oxidized copper, and oxidized copper bulbs that can be lit with axes.

Central room: Contains a conduit frame guarded by another elder guardian. Above it is a passage to the boss chamber.
Boss chamber: Trial spawner generates three elder guardians that must be defeated to receive the trident trial boss key. Rarely may drop a heart of the sea, making it renewable.

Upper vault: Above the boss chamber is another ominous vault with guaranteed trident drop and other valuable items.
Ominous Trials
- Increase chance of getting keys from regular trial spawners
- Provide drowned equipment
- Transform guardians into mini-elder guardians (same size but with +10 HP and +1 damage) that don't flee when players approach
- Ominous elder guardian trial spawner generates one giant elder guardian with 160 HP and 16 damage instead of three regular ones
