Domum Ornamentum
Domum Ornamentum is a Minecraft modification that dramatically expands the possibilities for decorating game spaces. The main concept of the mod involves creating recolorable blocks with support for interchangeable textures that can be used for building and interior design.
Main Features
The central element of the mod is a special model loader that receives texture information from inactive block entities. This allows for creating practically endless variety of visual options for standard blocks.
Gameplay
To work with the mod, you'll need to create a special tool - the architect's cutter. The process of creating decorative blocks is extremely simple: place the necessary materials in the appropriate slots, select the block type in the central part of the interface, and take the finished result from the right side.
Essentially, the architect's cutter represents an enhanced version of the stone cutter from vanilla game, but with much broader capabilities.
Compatibility
With Vanilla Game
The mod automatically creates an extensive system of compatibility tags that allow using Domum Ornamentum textures with blocks from other modifications. Any developer can add their blocks to these tags to ensure full integration.
With Other Mods
To ensure compatibility with other modifications, developers only need to add their blocks to the appropriate material tags. In most cases, it's sufficient to simply include planks or logs in standard vanilla tags, and Domum Ornamentum will automatically recognize them.
Current Status
The mod is in RELEASE stage. The development team has conducted thorough testing, however, as with any modifications, it's impossible to completely eliminate the possibility of errors appearing.
Installation
