Domy's Essentials

The Domy's Essentials mod fundamentally changes the approach to item value in Minecraft, turning every resource into a useful survival tool.

Main Features

The mod introduces numerous new mechanics that make gameplay more diverse and strategic. All added items are created exclusively through crafting and do not generate naturally in the world.

Tools and Weapons

Emergency tools help in critical situations. Fast picks for underground work break after 10 uses, and emergency torches are created without sticks but only provide 2 units instead of 4.

Redstone tools have high mining speed (efficiency 30) but destroy blocks without dropping resources. Obsidian tools are slow but can mine any blocks and have 2500 durability.

Combat diversity is represented by many unique swords:

• Poison Blade applies poison effect
• Obsidian Blade deals area damage
• Flame Sword deals heavy damage with burning
• Long Sword is faster than an axe and breaks shields
• Ender Sword teleports enemies to random locations

Armor and Protection

Slayer Armor provides diamond-level protection with iron appearance. Lapis Armor combines iron protection with gold enchantability. Emerald Armor occupies an intermediate position between iron and diamond.

Plants and Transformations

The mod adds unique plants with special properties:

• Weeping Sorrows cause rain
• White Deaths turn player into wolf
• Cleansing Plants remove effects
• Feather Plants provide slow falling
• Flame Plants provide fire resistance
• Vamp Plants turn into bat
• Skull Plants turn into skeleton
• Z Plants turn into zombie

Food and Drinks

Special meals for miners:

• Beetroot Feast gives Haste II for 1 minute
• Soldier's Meal fully restores hunger

Golden Cups create powerful potions:

• Cup of Kings gives Resistance 5 for 30 seconds
• Cup of Rage gives Strength 2 for 30 seconds
• Cup of Sorrow causes rain

Soups with various effects:

• Carrot Soup - night vision
• Wheat Soup - regeneration
• Potato Soup - saturation
• Foxy, Pig, and Cow Soups turn into corresponding animals
• Mooshroom Soup turns cow into mooshroom cow
• Melon Juice - invisibility
• Chili - resistance and fire resistance

Additional Features

Exchange recipes turn useless items into valuable resources. New weapon types include maces of all types with bonus damage against monsters and training weapons made of oak and bamboo.

Flintlock Pistol opens a new era of firearms in the game, finding use for flint and gunpowder.
