Obsidian in this modification possesses properties comparable to netherite materials. It demonstrates high knockback resistance, even surpassing netherite in this parameter. Important advantages include material accessibility and its exceptional durability. All obsidian items come equipped with unique built-in effects and enchantments that activate automatically.

However, there are certain limitations. Obsidian equipment cannot undergo additional enchanting beyond the built-in improvements, which excludes the possibility of adding spells such as Flame Aspect, Protection or Mending. An additional drawback is the impossibility of repairing damaged equipment - the only solution is crafting new gear.

Obsidian armor has significant protective characteristics but actively hinders the wearer's movement, causing various negative effects. This is not a complete replacement for netherite equipment, but rather a specialized option for special situations, for example, when exploring the End or in a world with a huge number of difficult mobs.

Armor Features

The full armor set is created for experienced miners ready 
for serious challenges. It provides protection level
comparable to netherite and fire resistance,
but has significant side effects:
 Helmet - applies Blindness
 Chestplate - causes Mining Fatigue with unique effect 
  of complete immunity to fire
 Leggings - significantly slow down movement
 Boots - reduce character luck

Tool Capabilities

Obsidian tools, unlike armor, provide powerful tactical advantages, compensating for reduced usage speed. Each tool type has unique properties:

• Pickaxe - activates Haste after breaking blocks
• Axe - applies Slowness to enemies
• Sword - possesses sweeping area 4th level
• Shovel - removes all negative effects from user when breaking blocks
• Hoe - created immediately with Fortune 3rd level

Obsidian Dimension

The modification adds a unique dimension where obsidian blocks replace netherrack, and landscape consists exclusively of basalt formations.
