Installation and Compatibility

The Doomful mod supports Minecraft versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 for Forge. No additional library mods are required for operation.

What's New in the Modification

Doomful completely revamps the functionality of Smite, Bane of Arthropods, and Impaling enchantments. Instead of the enchantments themselves (which can be restored in version 1.20.1 through settings), special artifacts and relics are added that can be applied to any weapon. These items provide the same functional effects as the original enchantments but with greater flexibility.

Additionally, the mod includes relics that increase damage against specific mob types: pigs, illagers, and other creatures. The modification offers extensive customization options to suit your preferences.

Item Acquisition Methods

Smithing Templates: can be found in dungeons as loot

Artifacts: crafted through crafting recipes

Undead Relic: dropped by skeletons

Meaty Relic: obtained from Piglin Brutes

Atrocious Relic: acquired from Blazes and Breezes

Ominous Relic: dropped by Vindicators

Relic of Ender: obtained from Shulkers

Submerged Relic: gathered from Elder Guardians
