Double Slabs
For a long time, I've been annoyed by the limitations of slabs in Minecraft. Why can't different types of slabs be placed on top of each other? It seemed completely illogical to me, which is why I created this mod.
Double Slabs enhances standard and modded slabs through small changes to their behavior.
Main Features
Combined Double Slabs - Now you can place two slabs of different types on top of each other! Finally, a long-awaited feature has been implemented.
Smart Breaking - When mining double slabs, each half breaks separately, with the mining speed depending on which slab you're looking at and which tool you're using. For example: if you have a combination of oak and stone slabs, trying to mine the oak slab with a pickaxe will be slow, but with an axe it will be faster, and vice versa. This feature works only in survival mode.
Vertical Slabs (excluding 1.21 versions) - Simply hold Shift while placing a regular slab to install a vertical version! You can also combine two vertical slabs, including slabs from Quark - just don't hold Shift when connecting.
Mod Compatibility - The combined double slabs and vertical slabs features work with many other mods. Some mods may require additional configuration for full support.
Usage in Modpacks
Of course! This is the main reason for creating this mod - you can freely use it in your modpacks.
