Drop the Meat
This compact mod introduces a simple yet interesting addition to gameplay - now all passive mobs drop meat that can be cooked. A special feature is that villagers occasionally drop their noses - this unusual item can either be eaten as a delicacy or turned into a slime ball when cooked.
The mod's settings provide a flexible management system: you can individually enable and disable any types of drops. An option for trading with butchers is also available - by default, only those deals that logically fit into the game mechanics are activated.
Most types of meat are initially available, although some may seem not entirely realistic - this is due to limited information about some mobs or the developer's conscious choice.
