Dramatic Trees
The Dramatic Trees modification is a fork of Dynamic Trees with several significant improvements and new features. The main changes you'll notice immediately:
- Realistic falling sounds - trees now emit characteristic creaks and crunches when falling, creating a more atmospheric experience
- Chain reaction - a falling tree can hit neighboring trees, causing them to fall in a domino effect
Future Plans
Developers are considering many interesting additions:
- Ability to strip bark from trees
- Obtaining bark as a separate item
- Realistic collisions with tree entities
- Unique sound effects for different tree species
- Fallen trees that remain on the ground until collected with a tool (axe or saw)
- Transportation of felled trees using ropes, carts, or by water
- Improved support for various soil types
- Ability to dig up young trees and transplant them into pots
- Compatibility with BetterFoliage visual improvements
- Leaving stumps after cutting, similar to BetterWithMods/BetterThanWolves
- Gradual trunk destruction during chopping
- Updated tree textures
