Dungeon's Delight
Introduction
Dungeon's Delight is an expansion for the popular Farmer's Delight mod that enriches the gameplay experience with new culinary possibilities. The mod introduces the ability to cook food from monsters, with such meals providing special status effects.
Key features of the mod include:
- Adding a monster kitchen for preparing food from creatures
- Introducing unique monster effects with special properties
- Expanding the Farmer's Delight culinary system with new mechanics
Main Features
🍲 Monster Cooking
The mod introduces a special device - the Monster Pot, which functions similarly to the standard cooking pot from Farmer's Delight but requires heating from spawner-like blocks. In it, you can prepare special foods - Monster Foods, each portion of which provides unique effects.
🔮 Monster Effects
The mod implements a new Monster Effects system - an alternative version of standard status effects. These effects are incompatible with their regular counterparts: when attempting to have both the normal and monster versions of an effect simultaneously, the normal variant transforms into the monster variant. Monster effects preserve the theme of the original but completely flip its concept.
🔪 Additional Features
The mod also includes supplementary functions: the Cleaver - an alternative to the regular knife that can be thrown, and Rotbulbs - a new type of crop that requires growing in darkened locations.
Compatibility with Other Mods
Dungeon's Delight develops integration with other popular mods so players can continue enjoying culinary experiments during any adventures. Current support includes:
- Twilight Forest - new food types, knife drops from mobs, and additional cleavers
- Yapping Tooltips - extended descriptions for all items
- Appledog - additional cooking recipes
- Miner's Delight - copper cup variants
This list doesn't include mods that independently add integration with Dungeon's Delight. Expansion of compatibility with other modifications is planned for the future.
