Dynamic Daytime

Does your Minecraft world feel too static and monotonous? This datapack is designed to fix this issue by adding real dynamics to your gameplay.

Unlike the standard game where the length of day and night is always the same, this datapack introduces a system of seasonal changes. With each new day in your world, the duration of daylight and nighttime will smoothly change, creating a sense of real seasons.

The core mechanic is built on an annual cycle that lasts 100 in-game days - this duration was chosen for optimal balance between realism and comfortable gameplay. After completing a full cycle, everything starts anew.

What you get:

• Smooth changes in the flow of in-game time
• Day can accelerate up to 2x normal speed or slow down to 0.5x
• Night changes inversely proportional to day (if day is longer, night is shorter)

The starting point is set to the middle of "summer", so your first days will be particularly long, and nights will be as short as possible. As you progress through the annual cycle, you'll observe how daylight gradually decreases and nights become longer.
