Dynamic Surroundings: SoundControl
This client-side mod completely transforms the sound environment in Minecraft, offering advanced audio management capabilities. Since it operates exclusively on the client side, no server installation is required for full functionality.
Key Features
Sound Repetition Control - the system automatically limits the repeated playback of identical sounds over short periods. Perfect for reducing noise around animal pens or other noisy contraptions.
Unwanted Sound Blocking - allows complete disabling of any registered sounds played through the Minecraft engine, including annoying insect buzzing from certain mods.
Volume Adjustment - some sounds may be too loud or too quiet. Now you can individually customize the volume level for each sound type.
Cave Acoustics - realistic reverb in caves: the larger the space, the longer the sound decay, creating atmospheric echoes.
Sound Isolation - sounds naturally fade when passing through blocks, adding realism to distance and barrier perception.
Configuration
Currently, all parameters are configured through the TOML configuration file. Graphical interfaces will be implemented in future updates when Forge provides the necessary functionality.
