Embeddium/Rubidium Dynamic Lights - Dynamic Lighting for Forge

This is an unofficial port of the LambDynamicLights mod, specifically adapted to work with optimization mods Magnesium and Rubidium (Forge version of Sodium).

Although the mod can work independently, for optimal performance it is recommended to install Magnesium/Rubidium Extras, which fixes a performance issue in Forge.

Unlike other dynamic lighting mods that are either incompatible with Sodium or cause significant lag, LambDynamicLights creates an additional layer on top of Minecraft's standard lighting system. This ensures high compatibility with other mods and stable operation.

The dynamic lighting settings are integrated into Sodium's configuration and can be found in the "Experimental" tab. All parameters are synchronized with the main configuration file dynamic_lights_reforged.toml.

This port fully matches the functionality of the Fabric version, and in some aspects even surpasses it thanks to implemented optimizations. Currently available for version 1.16, with plans to port to 1.18 after the modding ecosystem stabilizes.

For the best gaming experience during nighttime, it is recommended to use this mod together with Total Darkness and Custom Skyboxes.
