EarlyStage
The EarlyStage modification completely transforms the initial phase of the game, making it more realistic and engaging. Instead of the standard approach to crafting tools, you'll need to master primitive survival technologies.
New Tool Approach: Start by creating flint tools - these are the first available implements that replace wooden counterparts. The system requires using an axe for chopping trees, adding realism to the resource gathering process.
Unique Crafting Mechanics: The tool creation process has become more interactive. Find gravel to obtain flint, collect stones in the forest, and create a stone anvil. Place sticks and flint on it, then use another stone for processing - a few strikes, and your first tool is ready!
Sifting System: The mod adds a sieve for processing various blocks. Sift dirt, sand, and other materials to discover hidden resources and items. The system is fully customizable through datapacks, allowing for unique drops.
Technical Requirements: The mod is developed for Fabric and requires Fabric API and Cloth Config for full functionality. A Forge version is not planned for development.
Compatibility: You can freely use EarlyStage in any modpacks without restrictions.
