About the Modification

The Easy Magic mod fundamentally improves the enchanting table mechanics in Minecraft. The main innovation is that items placed in the enchanting table now remain in their slots even after closing the interface. This eliminates the need to refill the slots every time you reuse the table.

Key Features

Enchanting Table Inventory

Enchanting tables now have a full inventory with two slots. All items placed in these slots are preserved when the interface is closed. For automation purposes, hoppers can be used:

• Top: loading items for enchanting
• Side: supplying lapis lazuli
• Bottom: outputting enchanted items

Content Display

Items inside the enchanting table are now displayed in the world. Three visualization modes are available:

• Fancy floating
• Simple floating
• Flat display

Simplified Re-enchanting

To change available enchantments, simply remove and replace the item in the slot. For balance, you can enable an enchantment reroll cost in the settings - a specific amount of lapis lazuli and/or experience levels.

Enhanced Tooltips

Optionally, you can enable the display of all possible enchantments in tooltips instead of just one random one.

Flexible Bookshelves

Bookshelves now work through any blocks without collision (water, torches, grass). The number of shelves required for maximum level enchantments is configurable.

Comparator Compatibility

Comparators output a signal strength of 0-3 depending on the amount of lapis lazuli in the table.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How to configure the mod?

A: Settings are edited through the command line. In the world, execute the command /config showfile <modid>, select CLIENT or SERVER, then click on the appeared file name (.toml) to edit in a separate editor. After saving the file, the settings will automatically apply after a few seconds without restarting the game.

Q: The mod is installed but not working!

A: New features are not applied to existing enchanting tables. You need to break and replace the block.

Q: Free rerolling is too powerful!

A: In server settings, you can enable a reroll cost with a configurable amount of lapis lazuli and experience levels.
