Easy Steel & More [FORGE/NEOFORGE]
Easy Steel & More mod is designed for vanilla-style gameplay with expanded possibilities, maintaining the superiority of diamond and netherite items while offering players more options for tools, weapons, and armor. It fills the gap between stone and diamond materials, providing full intermediate development stages.
Main Features
Three new ore types generate in the world: cassiterite (tin), rutile (titanium), and wolframite (tungsten). For resource processing, a special tool is added - the crack hammer, which allows doubling ore output and creating powders.
Materials and Their Creation
- Flint - created from sharp flint
- Bronze - produced from copper and tin
- Steel - manufactured from iron and carbon
- Titanium Alloy - created from titanium and carbon
- Hardened Steel - produced from steel with additional carbon
- Tungsten-Carbide - manufactured from tungsten and carbon
Specialized Tools
In addition to standard vanilla-style tools (sword, pickaxe, axe, shovel, hoe, bow, and crossbow), the mod adds:
- Excavator - shovel with 3x3 area of effect
- Hammer - pickaxe with 3x3 area of effect
- Paxel - combined tool (axe + shovel + pickaxe)
- TreeAxe - capable of felling an entire tree at once

Key Mechanics
The crack hammer becomes a crucial tool in early game. When used in a crafting table on vanilla ores and mod ores, it provides double output in the form of powders. Works with coal, iron, gold, diamond, emerald, copper, tin, titanium, and tungsten. Also compatible with ores from other mods if they have proper Forge tags.

Creation Processes
Steel can be created from either powders or ingots - the choice is yours:

Practical Application
- Four new ores are added to world generation, but they can be disabled in settings
- Carbon powder is obtained by processing coal or charcoal with a crack hammer
- Bronze is created by mixing copper and tin powders with subsequent smelting in a regular furnace
- Steel is produced from carbon and iron powders with processing in a blast furnace
- Titanium alloy requires carbon and titanium powders with smelting in a blast furnace
- Hardened steel is created from raw steel and carbon powder in a blast furnace
- Tungsten-carbide is produced from tungsten and carbon powders in a blast furnace
Useful Tips
- Start the game in a biome with exposed stone outcrops - ores may be visible on the surface
- Use a hand shovel to collect sharp flint from gravel (random chance to get either regular flint or sharp flint)
- Iron nuggets can be turned into iron links for creating standard chainmail

All material and tool characteristics can be customized through the mod's configuration files.
