Entropic Block Magic
A modification that introduces numerous utility tools to Minecraft in the form of magic. Interacting with them requires careful study of the spell system's mechanics.
Available Spells:
Restoration
Return slabs and stairs to their original form, transforming them back into solid blocks.
Dismantling
Remove polish from polished blocks, take apart brick structures, demolish walls, and eliminate tile coverings.
Construction
Instantly increase the size of structures - this ability works like a special builder's wand.
Replacement
Change blocks on the ground to those you're holding in your off-hand.
Stockpiling
Throw all raw resources, cobblestone, and ores from your inventory in front of you.
Searching
Scan the contents of all chests within a 10-block radius, then find required items and request them.
Spell Creation
Each magical tome can be created by combining a book and quill, a diamond, a prismarine shard, and one additional special item (complete recipe lists can be found in relevant item viewing modifications).
Magic and Entropy
Accessing power requires cost! Spells are fueled by entropy - a special world energy:
- Every location in the world has an entropy score from -350 to 350
- Each spell operates only within a specific entropy range (in increments of 100 units)
- The value is determined by biome and altitude coordinate
- Current entropy can be tracked using a biome charm
- Entropy of a location can also be stored in this charm
Special Spells
Some spell tomes can be found in treasure chests. Such copies possess special properties - alternative casting costs and unique names.
Compatibility
The mod boasts high compatibility with other additions. Most functions operate through registry lookups rather than predefined tags or items. This means 90% of mods that add content following standard naming principles (such as new polished stones) will automatically be supported by this modification.
