The Ecology mod adds a realistic environmental consequences system to Minecraft, making players consider the impact of their technological progress on the environment.
Pollution System
The world features an environmental pollution system that accumulates in chunks and gradually spreads to neighboring territories. Various technical objects and Minecraft mechanics become pollution sources.
Main pollution sources:
- Furnaces and smelting devices
- Open fire
- Explosions of various nature
- Dropped items and garbage
- Other production processes
Pollution consequences:
- Smog - thick poisonous fog
- Food contamination
- Disappearance of animals and fish
- Death of trees and vegetation
- Acid rain
- Other environmental disasters

Environmental Cleanup
The system includes not only pollution but also natural cleanup processes. Some natural phenomena can reduce pollution levels:
- Tree growth
- Plant foliage
Technical Means
For monitoring and combating pollution, the mod provides special blocks and items:
- Pollution Filter - reduces emissions from nearby blocks (uses RF/Forge energy)
- Advanced Filter - reduces overall pollution in the chunk (also requires energy)
- Analyzer - provides information about pollution levels and active effects in the chunk
- Respirator - protects the player from the effects of polluted air

Configuration Flexibility
The mod supports console commands for finer adjustment of pollution system parameters.
