Edibles
New Possibilities for Ingredients
The Edibles mod transforms ordinary game components into edible items that grant temporary effects. Now you can consume various ingredients and receive beneficial bonuses from them.
Available Effects
Each ingredient provides a unique effect:
- Glowstone Dust - highlights surrounding entities for 20 seconds
- Blaze Powder - grants strength for 15 seconds
- Magma Cream - provides fire resistance for 15 seconds
- Sugar - increases speed for 15 seconds
- Ghast Tear - regenerates health for 15 seconds
- Phantom Membrane - slows falling for 15 seconds
- Rabbit's Foot - enhances jumping for 15 seconds
Settings and Limitations
All parameters can be changed in the configuration file. The following limitations are set by default:
Weakness from Overeating: If you consume more than 16 identical items per day, the player will receive the weakness effect for 45 seconds. You can also set an overall limit for all consumed items.
Cooldown: There is a 1000 millisecond delay between item uses.
Glow Radius: The glow effect affects entities within a 32-block radius.
