Expanding Food Possibilities in Minecraft
EditableEdibles is a practical addition for modpacks that opens new horizons in configuring food items. In standard Minecraft, food has limited effects that cannot be changed without programming your own mod. Our tool solves this problem by allowing easy customization of various effects when consuming food.
Main Features
With EditableEdibles, you can assign various potion effects to the player when eating food. You control the duration, effect strength, and activation probability. Unlike the standard system where each product has only one effect, our configuration supports multiple effects with different trigger chances.
The system also considers item metadata, which is especially useful for products with different variants, such as various types of fish. You can cancel standard food effects (for example, poisoning from raw chicken) and replace them with your own settings.
Configuration Settings
All parameters can be edited directly in the game through the Forge configuration menu, changes are applied instantly:
- Food Effects and Chances: List of effects for each product with specified trigger probability
- Cancel Default Effects: Ability to disable built-in product effects
- Healing Properties: Setting removal of negative effects when consuming food
- Treatment Types: Mass removal of effects by categories (all, positive, negative)
- Always Edible Products: List of food that can be consumed at any time
- Global Edibility: Option to make all food always available for consumption
Compatibility with Other Mods
EditableEdibles supports integration with the MistyWorld mod, allowing configuration of:
- Intoxication: Changing intoxication level from food consumption
- Pollution: Setting food's impact on environmental pollution level
All values are configurable in the range from 0 to 10000 and can be either positive or negative.
