Eggs and Spawners - Crafting Spawners and Spawn Eggs

This mod gives you the ability to create spawners and spawn eggs for various creatures through the crafting system. You no longer have to rely on random finds in dungeons!

Available Creatures

Currently, you can create spawn eggs for the following mobs:

• Zombie
• Skeleton
• Spider
• Cave Spider
• Creeper
• Witch
• Pillager
• Magma Cube
• Zombified Piglin (formerly Zombie Pigman, recipe remains the same)
• Wither Skeleton

Crafting System Features

To create more advanced spawn eggs, you'll need to have the previous egg in the development chain. All crafting recipes require dark magic ore, which generates in the world at levels 1 to 12.

Passive Mobs

In the passive mobs update, the following creatures were added with special spawn conditions:

Require grass around spawner:
Pig, chicken, cow, sheep, rabbit, bee, wolf, cat, llama, donkey, mule, horse, parrot

Require water around spawner:
Cod, salmon, squid

Require special blocks:
Mooshroom (requires mycelium), turtle (requires sand)

To view all crafting recipes, it's recommended to use mods like JEI, as the list is constantly being updated.
