Elemental Magic Staffs

This mod aims to enhance the standard Minecraft progression by adding interesting side objectives and giving purpose to underutilized items like lightning rods and phantom membranes.

Most staffs feature additional abilities activated by holding SHIFT and right-clicking simultaneously.

Elemental Staffs

Fire Staff

• Basic ability: Flame thrower
• Combined ability: Fireball
• Passive ability: Absorbs fire damage
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by blaze powder

Water Staff

• Basic ability: Water placement
• Combined ability: Temporary water buffs
• Passive ability: Protection from drowning
• Crafting recipe: Stick and heart of the sea

Ice Staff

• Basic ability: Ice beam
• Combined ability: Blizzard
• Passive ability: Resistance to freezing
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by snowballs

Forest Staff

• Basic ability: Bone meal
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by bone meal

Healing Staff

• Basic ability: Healing beam
• Combined ability: Self-healing
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by ghast tears

Wither Staff

• Basic ability: Wither beam
• Combined ability: Wither skull shot
• Passive ability: Protection from wither effect
• Crafting recipe: Stick and wither skull

Gravity Staff

• Basic ability: Mob levitation
• Combined ability: Fall damage immunity for 10 seconds
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by phantom membranes

Redstone Staff

• Basic ability: Place invisible redstone power source up to 40 blocks away
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by redstone

Electric Staff

• Basic ability: Electrify mobs with chain reaction
• Combined ability: Electricity spreads like disease
• Passive ability: Lightning strike protection
• Crafting recipe: Stick with lightning rods top/bottom, iron ingots on sides

Storm Staff

• Basic ability: Summon lightning on mob
• Combined ability: Lightning strikes around player
• Passive ability: Protection from lightning and fire
• Crafting recipe: Stick completely surrounded by lightning rods

Lava Staff

• Basic ability: Spawn lava on mob (disappears with second block)
• Combined ability: 3x3 grid of disappearing lava
• Passive ability: Protection from lava and fire
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by lava buckets

Cloaking Staff

• Basic ability: Short-term invisibility
• Combined ability: Invisibility with speed boost
• Crafting recipe: Stick surrounded by golden carrots

Ender Staff

• Basic ability: Teleport mob to player
• Combined ability: Teleport player to block (40-block range)
• Crafting recipe: Stick with ender eyes on edges
