Emerald & Obsidian Mod (Remake)

Welcome to the updated version of the legendary Emerald & Obsidian mod! This project represents an official port of the classic modification by royalreafer to modern Minecraft versions, starting from 1.12.2.

What the mod adds

The mod introduces a complete set of equipment made from emeralds and obsidian:

• Emerald and obsidian tools
• Armor of both types
• Various weapons

Features and changes

Balancing

In the 1.16 version, stat rebalancing was performed:

• Emerald armor now falls between iron and diamond in durability
• Obsidian armor slightly lags behind netherite in some aspects

Quality improvements

• Removed potion particles when wearing armor
• Removed the "hair" effect from emerald armor
• Shurikens have a 70% drop chance after use
• Obsidian shurikens have a 30% chance to set mobs on fire
• Added unique sounds for throwing and hitting with shurikens

Bonus effects

• Emerald armor provides a luck boost
• Obsidian sword can ignite enemies
• Scimitar is now a fast and agile blade instead of a heavy destroyer

Crafting

Most recipes are preserved from the original mod. Main changes:

Shurikens - crafted in a cross shape without the center slot Multitool - combination of pickaxe, axe, hoe, shovel, and shears Special arrows - arrow + corresponding material

Known features

• Reinforced shovels can break stone
• In version 1.12.2, modified arrows don't work due to the absence of the tag system
