Emotecraft (Forge) - Animations and Emotions in Minecraft
Add expressive animations and gestures to your Minecraft game! Emotecraft allows you to create and use various emotions, making interactions between players more lively and interesting.
Main Features
Built-in Animations
The mod includes a set of standard gestures, such as waving, that can be used immediately after installation.
Creating Custom Emotions
Develop unique character animations that reflect your hero's mood and personality. You can create completely new movements and poses.
Server Synchronization
To demonstrate your own emotions to other players, you don't need to send them animation files. The system automatically synchronizes the display of gestures between all participants.
Creation Tools
Use popular programs Blender and Blockbench to develop your own animations. These tools provide wide creative possibilities.
Installation and Setup
For proper operation of Emotecraft version 2.2.x and newer, you need to additionally install the following libraries:
- player animator
- bendy-lib
The mod must be installed on both the client and the server. Cross-platform compatibility is supported - you can use Forge on the client and Fabric on the server, or vice versa.
A version for Bukkit servers is also available. When connecting to vanilla servers, the mod will work, but the emotion functionality will be disabled.
Usage
By default, the B key is used to open the emotion selection menu. Custom animations are added to the .minecraft/emotes folder. For quick access to this directory, use the "Open emotes folder" option in the mod settings.
A collection of emotions created by the community is available, where you can find ready-made animations for use.
