Enchanted Effects
Overview
Enchanted Effects is a supplementary library mod that manages special buff and debuff effects added by other mods such as Not Enough Enchantments. When combined with Enchanted Lib, it independently implements several unique mechanics, including dealing damage to water-vulnerable creatures that have recently emerged from aquatic environments.
Key Features
Barrier Counter - A mechanic used by the Not Enough Enchantments (NEE) mod. When hit, the counter decreases by 1 unit, completely blocking incoming damage.
Soaking Effect - Deals periodic damage to water-sensitive mobs (such as Endermen and Blazes) when they remain in contact with water environments for extended periods.
Vortex Bubble - A function utilized in Barely Enough Enchantments (BEE). Creates a repulsive field around the entity, pushing away nearby entities with certain exceptions.
Existence Time - Tracks the age of any entity from the moment it appears in the world, enabling mechanics that depend on the entity's lifespan.
Additional Jumps - Determines the number of extra jumps available to the player beyond the standard initial jump.
And many other functions...
Important Notes
Full utilization of some features requires installation of compatible mods such as NEE or BEE, which provide legitimate means to activate corresponding effects. Enchanted Effects functions as a mandatory library for these mods while maintaining complete autonomy - only basic dependency on Enchanted Lib is required for its operation.
