Enchantica

The Enchantica mod significantly expands the enchantment system in Minecraft by adding over 33 unique enchantments for various items. The main focus is on improving equipment and tools that originally had limited enchanting capabilities.

Key Features

Expanded Enchanting Possibilities

You can now enchant items that were previously unenchantable: elytras, shields, and flint and steel. Additionally, the list of items that can accept certain enchantments has been expanded - for example, shields are now compatible with the Thorns enchantment.

Melee Combat Enchantments

Robustness

• Effect: Increases critical hit damage by 2.5 hearts for base level, with +1 heart per additional level
• Max Level: V
• Compatibility: Swords (primary), axes (secondary)
• Incompatibility: Sharpness

Blighting

• Effect: Applies Wither I effect to the victim with base duration of 4 seconds, +4 seconds per level
• Max Level: II
• Special: Exclusive to Nether fortress chests

Sagacity

• Effect: Increases experience dropped by mobs by 20% for base level, +15% per additional level
• Max Level: V
• Incompatibility: Looting

Soar Rend

• Effect: Increases weapon base damage depending on elytra flight speed
• Max Level: II

Flurry

• Effect: Increases attack speed by 0.1 for base level, +0.05 per additional level
• Max Level: IV
• Compatibility: Mace (primary), axes (secondary)

Ranged Combat Enchantments

Converged Shot

• Effect: Increases number of projectiles fired by 1 for base level, +1 per additional level
• Max Level: II
• Incompatibility: Multishot

Fumigating

• Effect: Expands the radius of tipped arrows, making them act like splash potions upon impact
• Max Level: I
• Special: Exclusive to jungle temple chests

Armor and Elytra Enchantments

Adaptive Protection

• Effect: Universal protection against all damage types that gradually adapts to most frequent damage types
• Max Level: IV
• Incompatibility: All specialized protection types

Divine Protection

• Effect: Provides additional protection against undead mobs
• Max Level: IV

Cushion

• Effect: Reduces kinetic damage from collisions while using elytras or ender pearl teleportation
• Max Level: V

Fortifying

• Effect: Adds armor stats to elytras: +1 armor and +0.2 armor toughness per level
• Max Level: V

Thrusting

• Effect: Accelerates player while using elytras when sprint button is pressed at the cost of experience

Tool Enchantments

Distant Touch

• Effect: Increases block interaction range by 0.5 blocks per level
• Max Level: III

Glimmering Geode

• Effect: Increases experience dropped by blocks by 20% for base level, +15% per additional level
• Max Level: V
• Incompatibility: Fortune, Molten Touch

Molten Touch

• Effect: Automatically smelts ores when mined, but blocks don't drop experience
• Max Level: I

Curses

Curse of Provocation

• Effect: All surrounding entities are initially aggressive toward the player

Curse of Sterility

• Effect: Item can no longer receive new enchantments (except other curses)

Curse of Whispering

• Effect: Randomly plays various sounds around the player

Technical Features

The mod is constantly evolving - many mechanics may be changed, improved, or completely reworked in future updates. All enchantments are carefully balanced to preserve the vanilla gameplay experience.
