EndermanTweak
Tired of seeing Endermen erratically teleporting across the surface during rain without actually escaping the water? This mod fixes this annoying visual glitch by giving Endermen the intelligence to teleport underground when it rains!
What's the Problem?
In vanilla Minecraft, when Endermen take rain damage, they activate their random teleportation ability but often end up in another rainy spot. This creates a chaotic "glitchy" effect where they randomly blink across the surface without actually escaping the water damage.
How Does the Mod Fix This?
This modification makes Endermen smarter! Now, when they take damage from rain, they will:
- Search for safe underground locations
- Teleport to places with sufficient headroom (4 blocks of air)
- Actually escape the rain instead of surface-hopping
- Behave more logically and naturally
Key Features
Smart Underground Teleportation: Endermen search downward for safe positions Two-Stage Search Algorithm: First fast random attempts, then thorough searching if needed Safety Checks: Ensures Endermen won't get stuck in tight spaces Performance Optimization: Limited search radius and number of attempts prevent lag Vanilla Game Compatibility: Doesn't change other Enderman behavior
How It Works
- Detection: When an Enderman takes rain damage
- Interception: Intercepts the teleportation attempt and redirects it
- Search: Looks for safe underground positions within a 16-block radius
- Teleportation: Moves the Enderman to a protected underground location
