The Endgame Reborn mod has been archived and replaced with End Reborn and End Reborn Additions.

It is recommended to install End Reborn along with the UPGRADE COMPAT version of Endgame Reborn to avoid issues with existing worlds.

This is a massive expansion that enhances endgame possibilities in vanilla Minecraft and introduces minor improvements to the End.

Main Features

At the core of the mod is a new ore - Remnant Steel, which is rarely found in the End, similar to Ancient Debris. This material can be combined into 7 different types of ingots to create 7 new gear sets. Each set is unique in its characteristics, but all have identical defense, attack, and speed stats, encouraging variety and giving players choice instead of linear progression.

The mod also replaces standard diamond and netherite gear with slightly rebalanced versions that better fit the mod's concept. This includes a small reduction in armor toughness and the ability to repair netherite gear with netherite scrap.

End Additions

• Remnant Steel Ore rarely generates in the End

Steel Gear Sets

Basic Steel

The main variant intended for the final stage of the game. Has immunity to fire and lava, armor has knockback resistance. Repaired with remnant steel scrap or steel ingots.

Reinforced Steel

Durable and reliable, crafted using diamonds. Has significantly increased durability. Repaired with diamonds.

Gilded Steel

Suitable for fiery environments, doesn't burn in lava. Crafted using gold ingots, has slightly increased durability. Repaired with netherite.

Forgotten Steel

Long-lasting and resistant, crafted using shulker shells. Armor has knockback resistance, tools have high durability. Repaired with shulker shells.

Fractured Steel

Perfect for enchanting, crafted using amethyst shards. Has high enchantability rating (25, like gold). Repaired with amethyst shards.

Sculk Steel

Powerful gear created using rare resources from ancient cities. Armor has high durability, tools have a high chance to extract a small amount of XP when used. Repaired with echo shards.

Prosperous Steel

Crafted using flawless emeralds. Armor has increased enchantability rating (20), tools give a small chance for emerald drops when used. Repaired with bottles of enchanting or emerald blocks.

All steel armor has a total defense score of 20 and toughness of 3. All steel tools deal 1 more damage than netherite (except hoes) and have efficiency of 10.

Features for versions 1.20+

To upgrade or change steel type in the smithing table, you'll need the respective template and a specific item (e.g., an ingot). The main Remnant Steel template can be found in End Cities, others can be crafted manually using special recipes, and can be duplicated after obtaining the first copy. The Netherite Upgrade Template can also be crafted without needing to find it, using a more expensive custom recipe. All recipes can be viewed in JEI or REI, and advancements have been added for automatic recipe unlocking through the vanilla recipe book as you progress through the game.
