The Endium Expansion

This mod introduces a completely new material called Endium, which can be found in The End as ore below y32 level, as well as in loot chests in end cities. Endium is designed as an alternative to Netherite, possessing its own advantages and disadvantages compared to it.

Endium Items

Unlike Netherite, Endium is not fire-resistant, but it is immune to gravity. Items made from this material are not affected by gravity and will hover over the void even if the player dies while carrying them.

Endium Tools

Tools made from Endium mine resources twice as fast as Netherite tools, although their durability is somewhat lower. Additionally, weapons made from this material deal 1 extra point of damage.

Endium Armor

Endium armor is comparable in protection to diamond armor, but its durability is slightly lower than Netherite. The special feature of this armor manifests when wearing at least two pieces: while sneaking, the player becomes immune to gravity.

Chromium Items

Chromium serves in The End a role similar to iron in the regular world, allowing players to mine diamonds and access resources that would otherwise be unavailable if stuck in The End.

Chromium Tools

Chromium tools work 33% faster than iron tools and possess 5.5 times greater durability. They also deal 0.5 extra damage compared to iron equivalents.

Chromium Armor

Chromium armor is 1 protection point weaker than diamond armor, providing total protection of 19 points. However, it has 1 more toughness point than Netherite, reaching a toughness of 16. The durability of this armor is also 5.5 times greater than iron armor.

Chromium Shield and Anvil

Crafted from 1 chromium ingot and 6 amaranth planks, this shield has 5.5 times greater durability than the standard shield. When blocking with this shield, the player becomes immune to gravity, similar to the Endium armor effect.

Chromium Shield

The chromium anvil, crafted similarly to the iron anvil, reduces experience cost when used by half and does not wear out over time.

Amaranth and Cobbled End Stone

Amaranth is a rare wood type that can be found in The End. The chance of an amaranth tree spawning in a chunk is 1/1250, provided there is suitable surface area. Additionally, chorus plants have a 5% chance of dropping an amaranth sapling instead of chorus fruit. After obtaining a wooden pickaxe from amaranth wood, you can mine end stone, converting it into cobbled end stone, which can be used similarly to regular cobblestone.

Crafting

After obtaining raw Endium from Endium ore, it can be smelted in a furnace or blast furnace to obtain Endium scrap. Combining 4 Endium scrap and 4 echo shards yields 1 Endium ingot. Echopearl is created by simply combining an echo shard and an ender pearl on a crafting table. Once you have an Endium ingot, it can be combined with diamond gear in a smithing table, similar to Netherite. You can also create decorative blocks from either 9 Endium ingots or 9 raw Endium. Finally, from amaranth you can create fences, slabs, stairs, buttons, and other items, while from cobbled end stone you can make walls, slabs, and stairs.
