Endless Biomes

Endless Biomes is a Vanilla+ style modification that dramatically transforms the End, similar to the Nether update. The mod adds diverse biomes, structures, and numerous additional elements while preserving the dimension's characteristic emptiness—biomes spawn as separate clusters with vast gaps between them.

Penumbral Forest is a lavender-colored biome featuring the tallest trees in the game. All vegetation here has increased durability: leaves, moss, and wood require an axe to harvest. To obtain wood, it's often easier to first strip the tough outer layer from the trunks. Some leaves glow—when broken, they yield endurians, which temporarily boost resistance when consumed.

Twisted Reef is a biome colored like Ender pearls, themed around teleportation. Here, plants grow in every direction, and huge floating coral cubes extend up to height 255. The higher you climb, the greater the chance of encountering riftite crystals and shiftling mobs.

Arkan Bungles are inspired by Australia's Purnululu National Park. The landscape consists of iceberg-like formations made of arkan—a new secondary stone block commonly found in the End. The biome is associated with radioactivity: in central zones, you can find bright pink radon blocks that deal damage when approached. Damage increases with proximity, but all arkan-derived blocks block radiation—direct line of sight between the player and the radon block is required for damage to occur.

Other structures rarely appear in the End: Arkan Ruins (small structures with potential loot) and The Bulwark (a large dungeon with unique mobs and valuable items).

Unlike trading in the Overworld and Nether, the End features a unique interaction system through Ruinous Altars. Instead of exchanging items, you "sacrifice" yourself at an altar, receiving one of six special negative effects (hexes) for 15–30 minutes and unique items, including new weapons, armor, and enchantments. Milk does not fully remove hexes but halves the remaining effect duration. Since you cannot perform a new sacrifice with an active hex, it's advisable to either bring a cow to the End or explore the dimension, periodically earning rewards.
