EnergyAdditions - Expansion for IndustrialCraft 2
EnergyAdditions is an addon for IndustrialCraft 2 Experimental that significantly expands the game's energy system capabilities by adding numerous useful devices and items.
Energy Shields
The mod introduces three levels of energy shields, each providing protection against specific damage types by consuming energy. Shields only activate when held in hand and turned on. It's important to note that having multiple shields of the same type in inventory makes them non-functional.

Energy Saber
The energy saber surpasses the standard nanosaber in power and supports module installation. To activate modules, simply place one module in inventory, after which the saber will apply effects to enemies or grant positive effects to the owner. Available modules include stun, poison, healing, and weakness.
Module activation is performed by right-clicking.
Armor
Two types of armor are added: Energy Armor and Advanced Energy Armor. The former is similar to nano armor but invisible when worn. The latter features a built-in jetpack and when fully enchanted with protection 4, reduces energy consumption when taking damage by half.
Updaters
Updaters are items that, when placed in the special EnergyAdditions inventory (opened with Y key by default) and with activated matrix, apply permanent effects to the player. A full set of Advanced Energy Armor is required for operation.

- Blind all enemies around on hit
- Water breathing
- Night vision
- Poison all enemies around on hit
- Regeneration 1/2/3 (when health below 50%)
- 20% chance to restore 1/2/4 hearts on hit
- Jump 2/4/8 on hit
- Speed 2/4/8 on hit
- Auto-smelting with luck modifier
- Slow enemies
- 20% chance to get strength 2/4/5 for one second on hit
- Wither effect removal
- Turn lava under player into obsidian
- Make player shiny
- Radiation effect removal
Some updaters can be crafted, others found in dungeons.
Energy Blocks
Energy Ore
Ore required for crafting, generates throughout the overworld. Energy ingot can be used as furnace fuel (16,000 ticks).
Energy Charger
Has 40 million EU buffer and can charge items in player inventories within 10 block radius (requires redstone signal). Supports voltage adjustment and has one discharge slot. Can only store energy, no output.
Advanced Energy Charger
Can charge machines without cables! To do this, craft Energy Binder, hold Shift and click on machine, then on charger. Up to 16 machines can be connected to one charger. Has four charging slots and 400 million EU buffer.
Stimulators
Energy stimulators replace traditional potion brewing. Three types available: power (strength), protection (resistance and fire resistance), and regeneration. Each has three levels with different effect strength and energy consumption. Three stimulators of same type can be combined into Ultimate Stimulator.
Items
Energy Binder
Used to connect machines to Advanced Energy Charger. In info mode shows data about connected machines.
Ultimate Energy Crystal
Stores 40 million EU with high charge/discharge speed.
Energy Bar
Charges with 10,000 EU, consumes 100 EU when used and restores 2 food units.
Vampiric Elixir
Removes vampirism effect that can be obtained from zombies or spiders. Vampirism effect causes burning in sunlight but provides advantages in darkness and can be transmitted to other creatures when attacking.
