EnvironmentZ - Realistic Temperature System in Minecraft
EnvironmentZ mod introduces realistic weather conditions to Minecraft, forcing players to care about thermal comfort in different biomes. Now you'll need to warm up in cold regions and cool down in hot areas.
When the temperature drops to 0°C (32°F), the character starts freezing without proper cold protection. In excessively hot conditions, it's recommended to remove armor or use other methods of heat protection. In the early stages, you can simply warm up by a campfire or find a cool spot!
A great addition to this mod is the Dehydration mod, which adds a thirst system.
Temperature Protection Methods
Carry heated stones with you that warm you with their heat. Crafting recipe: processing stone in the stonecutter.
Craft leather armor, wolf armor, or insulate your equipment with polar bear fur. In older versions, armor insulation requires using the smithing table.
Technical Requirements
The mod is developed for Fabric and requires Fabric API and Cloth Config. A Forge version is not planned.
Allowed for use in any modpacks. Bug reports are accepted on the project's GitHub page.
