Era of Rails

A modification that significantly expands the capabilities of the railway system in Minecraft! Transport routes will become more functional and productive. The mod adds four new types of rails and several varieties of minecarts, including copper variants, and allows creating full-fledged trains.

Railway Evolution

Copper Rails open new horizons for high-speed travel – they are significantly more efficient than standard powered rails, making minecart journeys a real alternative to elytra flight.

Switch Mechanisms with redstone control ensure smooth direction changes and enable the creation of complex automated train systems.

Halt Rails solve the problem of automatic stations – they stop a minecart when not powered and launch it in the specified direction when receiving a signal.

Input Rails – a key element for fully autonomous railway networks, converting signals from input carts into redstone pulses.

Innovative Minecarts

Jukebox Cart with an installed music player allows enjoying music during travel.

Redstone Cart with a redstone block currently has no specific application but opens up space for player creativity.

Command Cart – a more complex mechanism for creating self-programming route networks.

Command Cart Functions

The command cart transmits instructions to input rails – activating or leaving the system unchanged. The system operates according to a program list where each contact with an input rail performs a specific action and moves to the next command. The processing cycle repeats after a set number of operations that the player can configure independently.

Copper Transport

Each type of minecart has a copper modification that doesn't stop when colliding with entities but instead throws them aside.

Train Formation

Minecarts can be combined into trains using chains.

Composition Formation Process:

• Use Shift+RMB on a minecart with a chain in hand, then RMB on an adjacent minecart with the same chain
• The first minecart becomes the lead, the second becomes the follower
• The follower will follow the leader with a visible chain connection
• Longer trains are created by sequentially attaching additional minecarts

Compositions have limited durability and break when minecarts move too far apart from each other.

Dispenser Assembly: By alternating placement of minecarts and chains in dispensers, ready-made railway compositions can be automatically formed.
