Essential Apocalypse

Essential Apocalypse is a comprehensive modification that significantly enriches your gaming world by adding a vast array of modern and post-apocalyptic items, equipment, and other elements.

Inspiration

The mod draws inspiration from cult survival games such as Dying Light, DayZ, and State of Decay. If you want to bring more grit and apocalyptic atmosphere to your world, Essential Apocalypse is the perfect solution.

Weaponry

The modification features diverse weapons that can be crafted directly in the game. Each of these combat tools will give your world a unique post-apocalyptic flavor. The developer is continuously working to expand the arsenal with new specimens.

Specialized Ammunition

You'll have access to six types of grenades: fragmentation, smoke, artillery barrage, missile, supply drop, and gas. Each serves as an effective tool for various tasks—from area control and precision strikes to replenishing supplies and simply destroying objects.

Special Equipment

For full mod functionality, Curios installation is required, which provides key features. Handcuffs allow you to immobilize other players and access their inventory, while the burlap sack limits field of vision. To use either item, right-click and hold on the target. The bandana, balaclava, and ski mask hide the character's name when worn—perfect for setting ambushes, stealthy tracking, or simple disguise. Sunglasses just add style—who would refuse them?

Loot Containers

Loot crates offer a more multiplayer-optimized alternative to barrels and chests, which can cause server lag when present in large quantities. These containers are easily refillable using WorldEdit.

Loot tables can be customized by downloading the default settings datapack from GitHub. When interacting with a container, the system selects items from the corresponding table and dispenses them in the direction the crate is facing. Afterward, it switches to an "opened" state and cannot be used again until manually refilled or via commands.

Work is currently underway to expand the weapon arsenal, add armor, food, and new game mechanics. Expect updates soon, and meanwhile—enjoy the apocalypse!
