EssentiallyBuckets - Rethinking the Bucket System in Minecraft
Welcome to the fifth installment in the "Essentially" series of mods, which fundamentally changes the familiar bucket mechanics in Minecraft!
What's Changed?
In the standard version of Minecraft, buckets were infinite tools - easy to craft, simple to use, and they never broke. EssentiallyBuckets breaks this tradition by adding a realistic durability system.
Main Features
Thanks to the durability system from the BucketLib library, all buckets now have a limited lifespan. The mod adds six new types of buckets:
- Wooden Bucket - 1 use
- Terracotta Bucket - 3 uses
- Stone Bucket - 6 uses
- Nether Brick Bucket - 12 uses
- Copper Bucket - 24 uses
- Iron Bucket - 32 uses
All new buckets retain standard functions - they can carry liquids and mobs, just like the original bucket. However, the standard bucket recipe has been replaced and is no longer available for crafting.
Requirements
For the mod to work, the BucketLib and JustAnotherLibrary libraries are required.
