Eugene's Whistle & Spur

Imagine this: you're in the vast world of Minecraft, and your loyal horse is somewhere nearby. With this mod, you can simply press the H key to whistle - and your steed will immediately respond! It will whinny joyfully, raise its head, and start making its way to you, even teleporting closer first if necessary.

How It Works

For successful calling of your four-legged friend, several conditions must be met:

• The horse, donkey, or mule must be tamed by you personally
• The animal must be within 128 blocks, otherwise it won't hear your whistle (in versions after 1.0.1, this distance can be configured)
• It cannot be leashed or being ridden by someone else

Ender Horse Armor

The mod adds a unique item - ender horse armor. If your horse is equipped with this armor, you gain additional capabilities:

• Call your horse anytime, anywhere
• Resurrect your pet if it dies

Spurs for Speed Boost

But that's not all! When you're riding a horse, pressing H activates the spurs function. Your steed will take minor damage but will significantly speed up for a while. Moreover, there are two speed levels - you can use spurs twice to achieve maximum velocity!

Development History

Originally, version 1.0 was created by Eugene using MCreator. Starting from version 1.0.1, development was continued by kltyton, who significantly improved the mod by solving the UUID problem, adding the teleportation mechanism, and optimizing the code, while abandoning the use of MCreator.

Version 1.0 is protected by copyright. Starting from version 1.0.1, the mod became open source and is distributed under the AGPL-3.0 license.
