Ex Compressum - Resource Gathering Optimization for Ex Nihilo
Ex Compressum is an addon for the popular Ex Nihilo modification that significantly simplifies the initial stages of gameplay in "skyblock" mode while maintaining game balance.
This mod is compatible with various versions of Ex Nihilo depending on the Minecraft version:
- For Minecraft 1.10.2: Ex Nihilo Omnia and Ex Nihilo Adscensio
- For Minecraft 1.12: Ex Nihilo: Creatio
- For Minecraft 1.20.1: Ex Nihilo Sequentia, Ex Deorum and Fabricae Ex Nihilo
- For Minecraft 1.21: Currently no compatible Ex Nihilo versions found
Main Features
The mod offers a comprehensive set of tools for automation and process optimization:
Compressed Tools: Special compressed hammers allow breaking compressed blocks to immediately obtain nine units of crushed material (for example, from compressed gravel you get 9 units of sand). The compressed crook is four times more effective than the regular one but has half the durability.
Process Automation: The heavy sieve enables direct sifting of compressed blocks, though with a slight loss of efficiency. The automatic compressor independently compresses items into blocks (for example, turns crushed ores into ore gravel). Automatic sieves and hammers are also available.
Alternative Resource Sources: The wooden crucible allows extracting water from plants, which becomes an excellent alternative to rain. Special animal baits provide the ability to attract cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, ocelots, and wolves outside their natural biomes.
