The Ex Deorum mod is a modern adaptation of the legendary Ex Nihilo addon by Erasmus_Crowley, originally created for Minecraft version 1.7. The developer drew inspiration from well-known modifications such as Ex Nihilo Adscensio by unascribed, YUNoMakeGoodMap by LexManos, and Ex Compressum by BlayTheNinth, though it's important to note that the code from these projects was not used directly.

The key difference between Ex Deorum and the original mod and its previous versions is the built-in SkyBlock world type. All recipes are implemented through datapacks, with default settings covering only items from the vanilla version of Minecraft. Resource drops from sieves are balanced in such a way that the mod can be comfortably used without the need to install Ex Compressum.

An additional feature is the addition of a watering can - an alternative to bone meal that solves the problem of slow plant and tree growth. Six upgrade levels are available, starting with a wooden watering can that the player receives when creating the world along with a torch (both of these settings can be changed).

The mod is fully compatible with JEI for all its blocks and provides useful KubeJS functions.
